Hawaiian Smoked Pork Chops are made to perfection on the Traeger. They come together quickly and have a wonderful pineapple flavor.

My husband got a smoker last year and we have been making anything and everything on it. The flavors are incredibly full and make your mouth water just waiting to eat it!

One of the things that I love most since getting the Traeger is that my husband will actually get excited to cook! I find him very often on different websites looking up new recipes. It’s nice to not always be the one making dinner and figuring out the menu plan!

But that doesn’t mean that I don’t tackle that machine frequently as well. I was scared to use it at first, but after the first few times I felt like a pro!!

Smoked Hawaiian Pork Chops

One of my recent meals was a delicious Hawaiian Smoked Pork Chop.

(the hawaiian BBQ seasoning I used is from Feast Mode)

Smoked Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 Pork Chops Thawed
  • 20 oz Can of Pineapple Chunks Do not drain
  • 2 tbsp Hawaiian BBQ Seasoning

Instructions

  • Place the pork chops in a gallon sized ziplock bag with the full can of pineapple juice. Reserve the pineapple chunks for later.
  • Let the pork marinate in the juice for at least an hour in the fridge. I like to put them in the fridge in the morning though and let them marinate all day long.
  • Start your smoker about 15 minutes before you want to smoke the meat. Heat it to 225* We like to use a applewood pellet.
  • Abotu 10 minutes before smoking, pull the pork chops out of the juice and sprinkle both sides the pork chop with the hawaiian seasoning and rub it into the meat
  • Cook the pork chops for 30 minutes.
  • Flip your pork chops and place multiple pineapple chunks on top of each one. Put a tempature probe into one (or multiple) of the Pork Chops for easy checking.
  • Cook ~30 more minutes until the internal temp of your pork chops reaches 145*
  • Remove the meat from the smoker and cover with foil. Let rest 5-10 minutes before serving.
