I have always wanted to be a “soccer mom”. My whole life I pictured myself on the sideline of whatever sport or hobby my child participates in. I wanted to be the one cheering, holding signs and screaming my kids’ name at the top of my lungs. What I didn’t picture was the fact that I would be in a car for a majority of the day, running from place to place. Forgetting uniforms, water bottles, baseball bats and who knows what else. I didn’t picture the hectic spaz of a mom that I would become. Half of the time I forget until dinner time that my kids haven’t had a single snack because I’ve been too crazy to think about it or pack one for them. So I came up with a solution that isn’t only good for my kids, but also for my husband!
I went to Target and stocked up on a bunch of Kellogg’s on-the-go snacks; Nutri-Grain Bars, Pop Tarts and Rice Krispies Treats, all snacks that my kids love and I know will last if left in the car.
I wanted to do something a little more personal for my kids/husband on these snacks, so I created some snack wrappers that I put around them. I went for an inspirational quote because lets face it….who can’t use a little extra inspiration and uplift on a regular basis!

Printer
Double Sided Adhesive
Paper Cutter
Once you download the wrappers (available below), print it on a regular printer paper (white or colored, whichever you prefer) then cut it out along the black line. Then place double sided adhesive along the two back sides and the center top and bottom to secure in place around the snack.
Be sure to check out Kellogg’s Back to School packaging and great on-pack offers in store at Target! Also, right now (from 9/13-9/19) purchase five select Nutri-grain, Special K, Pop-Tart, and Kellogg’s cereal products and receive a $5 Target giftcard.

What is your favorite way to take snacks on the go during your BUSY season?!
Also, my favorite way to serve the Rice Krispies Treats is with homemade caramel sauce. And did you know that you can make some IN THE CROCKPOT with 1 INGREDIENT?! Well it’s true!!!!
All you need is a can of sweetened condensed milk.
You will probably want to put a heat safe cup or bowl in the bottom so that the can doesn’t leave any spots on your crockpot. One the can and dish are in place, fill your crockpot full of water, enough to cover the can. Then turn the crockpot to low and let cook for 6-8 hours!
Once done, remove the can (use a silicone gripper or tongs) and your caramel is done!!!!!
Store in an air tight container in the fridge. You can reheat in the microwave at 15 second intervals until warm.
What a fun idea! And that caramel sauce sounds like a super easy and fun dip for Rice Krispie Treats! Thanks for sharing! #client
