These lace and trace printable activities are serious lifesavers at times in our house. It’s fun to see the kids calm down to focus on how they are going to sew. It is also the perfect activity to take with you; in the car, at church, at school pickup and more! It is so easy to create and the kids love it.
Lace and Trace Peep Printable
Supplies:
- Free printable
- Cardstock
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
- Twine
Just print the pdf (available in 5 colors) on card stock paper for a more durable holdup. Then cut out your shape.
Then you will take a standard hole punch and about every 1/2 inch punch a hole all the way along the shape.
Measure twine or yarn to be twice the length of the image radius (~50 inches). Tie one end to the top of the ear and have your child lace thru the holes all the way around.
The kids love to find different ways to “sew” and wrap it around the shape.
