HEALTHY 3 Ingredient Popsicle – Pineapple Blueberry

healthy 3 ingredient popsicles pineapple blueberry

Remember, the baggies I used for this recipe are REUSABLE, so do not throw them away! Wash them out and use them again for the next batch. Makes the cost so much more affordable and you’re “saving the planet” too which everyone is concerned about!!

I am trying SO hard to make healthy choices, which can be really hard when all I want to do is join the kids with a popsicle or ice cream cone multiple times a day. That’s the only thing that sounds good when it’s 90• outside and we are out there all day long. So I decided to make my own popsicles that are completely guilt free and I could eat multiples of and I’d actually just be getting my fruits for the day instead of tons of processed stuff.

Also check out these other homemade popsicles my kids love and devour. They love the Watermelon Limeade ones, and the Strawberry Banana ones

Today I’m sharing with you Gracie’s favorite. This girl might turn blue soon, because she pops blueberries like they are M&Ms!!

HEALTHY 3 Ingredient Popsicle - Pineapple Blueberry

Ingredients
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup pineapple slices
  • 1 cup water
  • (if your fruit isn't very sweet, use 1T honey to sweeten)
  • Popsicle mold
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and beat until fully liquified. Then pour the mixture into the popsicle mold ¾ of the way full. Freeze for 6 hours or overnight.

For this particular popsicle, we used the Zipzicle Reusable Popsicle bags. I love them because they are durable, have a zip top and most of all because we can wash them and reuse time after time!!

Oh, and did I mention that they are a great price on Amazon!!!!

This recipe, which I am pinning, is ZERO points for anyone on Weight Watchers as long as they don’t add honey. The blueberries in my community are very sweet this year so it won’t need any sweeteners for me 🙂

  5. These look tasty! And what a great way to save money and make healthier summer treats for children. I love making fruit popsicles for my 4-year-old, when I buy too much fruit, or need to freeze it. It is the only way I can get her to eat fruit some days 🙂 Thanks for linking up to This is How We Roll Linky Party!

  6. I never knew there were popsicle bags. I am going to get these tomorrow at the store. Thanks for linking up at #HomeMattersParty this week hope you will come back next week to link up again.
