Lace and Trace Peep Printable

This Lace and Trace printable helps the kids with hand motor function and also gives them a sense of a beginner sewing technique.

Materials

  • Free printable
  • Cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Hole Punch
  • Twine

Instructions

  • Just print the pdf (available in 5 colors) on card stock paper for a more durable holdup. Then cut out your shape.
  • Then you will take a standard hole punch and about every 1/2 inch punch a hole all the way along the shape.
  • Measure twine or yarn to be twice the length of the image radius (~50 inches). Tie one end to the top of the ear and have your child lace thru the holes all the way around.
  • The kids love to find different ways to "sew" and wrap it around the shape.
