This game has been such a huge hit with my kids since I made it. The other night I even caught them playing it in their room, 2 hours after bedtime. I’m glad that they like it…but not so much that they like it enough not to go to bed!
Its a game that’s played like go fish, but you need a 3 of a kind to make your match. It’s great for young kids because they can play by asking for colors.
2-3 players – Played like go fish
After downloading, print the images on cardstock paper and then cut along the black lines to create your playing cards.
Shuffle the cards and deal 4 cards to each player. Place the remaining cards down in a pile. Each player will take turns asking for cards (do you have a yellow monster, etc) If the answer is yes, take the card(s) from the other player and the turn is over. If the answer is no, draw a card from the pile and the turn is over. When a player collects 3 cards of the same color and can match a monster, those cards are placed on the table face up. Play until one player has no cards left in their hand. The winner is the payer who has made the most monsters.

Lovely, whimsical monster game! I love it. I’ll be using this for my classroom. I teach Spanish and it will be a great review of body parts in a fun way. Thank you for sharing your creativity with the world.
