The perfect baptism dress and other attire can be inexpensive and doesn’t have to be hard too find. Find my links below
I posted a few quick pictures on Instagram of my baby girl on her 8th birthday (check out my post of when she was born). They were her LDS baptism pictures that we had just taken in place of the typical birthday pictures that I do of my kids each year.
I got so many questions about the baptism dress and flower crown that we used for her pictures, so I figured I would share the details with you here on the blog.

We looked high and low for her “perfect baptism dress”. She didn’t want something that was plain. She kept telling me she wanted it to feel like a wedding dress. Well, I wasn’t ready to see her in one of those! But this dress definitely makes her look so grown up.
I do want to be transparent and let you know that this dress has a sheer back. It is lace on the top and the front is lined in a cute sweetheart shape. However down to the waist, the back is sheer.
I was really worried about the lace because Gracie is sensitive to “itchy fabrics” but this one is a really soft and stretchy fabric. It doesn’t bother her being against her skin.
The sleeve opening is not stretchy so I have to help her take the dress off, but that’s the only part that isn’t perfection about the dress!
