We can all get swept up into the hustle and bustle of the holiday season; the gift shopping, baking, gathering of friends, ice skating, visiting Santa and more. Sometimes with all of that, it’s hard to focus on the real and true meaning of the season. It’s hard to have my kids focus on it when I barely remember myself. I try to remind them whenever they get wrapped up in the “all I want for Christmas” lists, and adding a million and a half toys to the list. But sometimes it’s not easy to have that focus each day. That’s why I love the #LIGHTtheWORLD campaign that the LDS church is putting on during the month of December.
Each day will highlight a Christ-like behavior that we can focus on that day, and on their website they have ideas of how/what to do that day to emulate the characteristic starting with the Worldwide Day of Service on December 1.
I’ve created a printable of the whole month and all the Christ like behaviors for each day. Keep it posted on the fridge, the bathroom mirror or put it inside your purse where you can see it daily and remember to take some time to share the light!!!
