Today I’m sharing another fun food idea for The Big Game. As you could probably tell from previous posts, we are huge chicken wing fans. So when I heard that the Walmart deli now carries cooked and ready to eat wings I was so excited. They are Tyson chicken, which my family loves so I knew they would all approve! They have different flavor options and even a take 3 option where you can pick different flavors to bring home.
We picked up some General Tso’s chicken wings and I made this coconut lime dipping sauce that goes perfectly with the slight spice of the wing. It was so good, and who doesn’t love a good coconut lime recipe?!
- ⅔ cup Coconut Milk
- 1 Lime's juice
- Sweetened coconut (optional)
- Place the ingredients into a blender and blend until completely smooth. Pour into a serving dish and refrigerate at least an hour to help the dip set up.
- (optional) Toast some coconut and top your dipping sauce before serving.
- Serve cold with chicken wings or other meat made for dipping.
I’m so excited to make this again for a big group. It seriously is about 5 minutes of work for the dipping sauce, and no work at all for the wings!! That’s my kind of party prep!
What are your favorite flavors to dip your wings in?
Make sure to check out the amazing wings at Walmart. There are a bunch of upcoming in store demos that you won’t want to miss. Look up your store and the demo time/date here.
This sauce looks and sounds amazing!! And so do those wings…what are the other flavors Walmart offer for the wings?
They also have a hot wing and a buffalo wing, but your location may have more of a selection as well!
This looks really good! I’ve never tried anything like it. My favorite dipping sauce is bleu cheese!
This sounds fantastic!!!
