Yummy Yummy Fall

Wow, talk about my WORST NIGHTMARE EVER!

My email account for my blog got hacked and everything went downhill from there… (a HUGE sorry if any of you received spam emails from my email address). Somehow that affected the log in to my blog and I had no access to either. I finally got back into my email but still could not access my blog.
I was afraid for days that a random anonymous post would end up here on the blog. Luckily, it didn’t.
I’m so upset and paranoid over the whole thing, I will now be changing my passwords weekly in hopes of this never happening again!

Anywho, on to a more positive note! The cold is here which means fall food galore! I really can’t explain my excitement for all things fall.
Today was cold, rainy and gloomy which called for comfort food. So that’s just what I did. I dug thru the pantry and fridge until I realized what I needed to settle my comfort food craving.

Yummy Grilled Sandwich and Tomato Soup

I made it just like a grilled cheese sandwich. But inside I used
  • Bacon
  • Tomato
  • Cheddar Jack Cheese
  • Pepper Jack Cheese
  • Honey Mustard
Spread the Honey Mustard on the insides of the bread. Then put the cheese on both sides, next to the bread.  This will act like glue to keep the sandwich from “slipping” from the tomato juice!
I also like to “mush” my sandwich to make the flavors blend. To do this, I just use a lid from something to apply pressure to the entire sandwich.

Eat it with any soup, but today called for tomato!!

You can substitute the inners for anything. I’m thinking some spinach on this same sandwich would be amazing.
Also, asparagus with provolone. YUM!

This is SO YUMMY!!!

Speaking of fall, I have a really fun fall giveaway for you tomorrow!!
Can you say BOOTS?!

  1. So sorry about your account! My husband’s was hacked not too long ago and it is such a pain to fix and very unsettling. We have been eating lots of grilled cheese and tomato soup lately-I like your additions though. We will have to mix it up next time we have it for dinner. You always have great ideas!
