Homeschool Teacher shirt Tutorial
I’ve shared Gracie and Will’s back to school shirts for this year, and it’s now time for mine!
I’ve definitely never made myself a BTS shirt before because it’s normally my “freedom” dance taking center stage. But this year, my kids are doing a hybrid schedule and going to school 2 days a week and doing online schooling for the other 3 days…which means it is on me to manage the time and assignments during those 3 days.
I’m not the best homeschool mama….which is why my shirt is 100% appropriate for myself!
Supplies:
- Cricut Maker
- Infusible Ink in 2 different colors. I used black and purple
- T-shirt Blank
- Easy Press
- Easy Press Mat
- Homeschool Teacher design in Design Space
I made it super easy for you to cut out the design because you just have to click on the link and hit cut!!
MAKE SURE TO MIRROR THE IMAGE.
After the images are cut out, weed the excess from your backing. I didn’t want to iron it twice, so I took the purple word “teacher” off of it’s backing and placed it where I wanted it on top of the black words.
Because the purple word is on top, and will be touching the shirt, it will be the color that infuses onto the shirt.
Iron the infusible ink onto the shirt according to the Easy Press heat guide.
The infusible ink reveal is seriously my favorite!! Pulling the backing away to show the clean and crisp lines is such a satisfaction!
Once you’ve made your shirt….decide which way you are going to wear it…with leggings and tennis shoes or jeans and cute flats?!
