This is one of my family’s favorite dinners, and I love that it’s a finger food so we can munch while watching football (GO BYU!), especially lately. It’s so fun to gather around the TV together and cheer on our favorite team. And the best part is that you can get everything in one stop and it is a low budget meals too!! We all know that grocery budgets can be tight around the 1st and 15th of the month right before pay day, so can’t we all use a few dinners that will feed a ton for under $20. So grab these items the next time you are at Walmart because they are currently on rollback. You’ll love being able to make this for a super great price.
Baked Chicken Strips
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup KRAFT Ranch Dressing
- 2 cups chopped up pretzels (stick them in your blender for 30 seconds!)
- 1 cup Velveeta Shreds in cheddar
Cut your boneless chicken breasts into even strips to make sure they bake evenly. Combine the pretzel and cheese in one bowl, and pour the ranch into another. Roll each chicken strip in the ranch dressing then let all excess run off and then place it in the pretzel cheddar mixture until fully covered. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25 minutes at 450 degrees.
Creamy Chipotle dipping sauce
Combine equal parts KRAFT Ranch Dressing and KRAFT Sweet & Spicy Chipotle BBQ sauce. Stir until well combined and serve with your baked chicken strips.
I also served these with my seasoned potato wedges, but I put a fun twist on them by putting some of the Velveeta Shreds cheddar cheese on top the last 3 minutes of the bake time.
What is your favorite food for a football party?!
