One of my family’s favorite places to go is Thanksgiving Point, it’s even what William has requested for his birthday party. And all the fabulous events they have make each visit even more fun. There’s always something new to experience each time we go.
This upcoming weekend (August 26-27 2016), the Utah Renaissance Faire will be in the Electric Park and it’s so packed full of events for the whole family!!
- Musical Performances
- Jousting Contests presented by the Knights of Mayhem with 8-time world champion, Charlie Andrew heading up the attraction.
- Artisan Booths where various artisans will present their crafts and skills, like pottery, bread making, candle making, blacksmithing, stained glass, leatherwork, woodcarving, bird handling, weaving, millinery, face painting, and more. Vendors will be offering a variety of food and merchandise.
- Workshops during the day and performing “Anthony and Cleopatra” in the evenings (**FREE to the public.)
- Horse Vaulters
- Puppeteers
- Royal Court will include a king and queen, nobles, jester, and jugglers,

Also, there will be a Medieval feast held at 7 pm on both nights with VIP seating for the jousting contest, authentic medieval music, a five-course meal and live entertainment.
