#VinylNFL How to make your own phone cover

You guys, it’s officially well into Football season, and I am totally representing’! #GoBYU is an often hashtag used on IG for me, and we are definitely BYU football fans in the Barker house. So when challenged to make something football related you know I had to come up with something BYU themed and NOTICEABLE. We don’t hide our love!

BYU cell phone vinyl

This is my phone, and I LOVE it. I used the blue polka dot vinyl from Expressions Vinyl and using my cricut sized it to the size of my iPhone 5S. The best part is, Cricut totally has a “canvas” for this size, so all I had to do was create a rectangle that fit just inside the gold part of my phone. Then I added the BYU words in what font I thought fit the school’s letters best. Then I clicked Select All, right clicked and then “weld”. Super easy and QUICK! This is one of the best things of having a cricut explore.

Wanna see what else I made? Because don’t worry, I didn’t stop at just my phone;

BYU logo iphone vinyl

Sean’s phone got a fun and more masculine makeover. I used strips of grey vinyl, with the blue Y logo in the center.

  1. love that you used it for your ipad, my mac might need a little facelift soon 🙂

  2. The best football game was my sons first high school home game, where I got to watch him play in the marching band. It amazes me how much the band get the fans to cheer on their favorite team. The football team won that night and it was a great experience for my son who was not a football fan. Now he is…all because of this experience.
