{Spring Treat}
We have people moving in and out of our neighborhood and ward quite often. I’ve learned that the best way to get to know the new people is to take a treat! So I’ve made a bunch of these Spring Treat pillow boxes using my Cricut (cut from the Tags Bags Boxes and more 2 cartridge).
Each box measures about 5×7 so they can fit quite a few treats in them. I used the fun paper I got as part of the Amy Tangerine kit (see more about it here). I also embelished the boxes using fun stuff from the same kit. I embroidered a small tag and hot glued a fun clothes pin onto the box to hold the tag.
On the yellow one, i wrapped some of the embroidery floss around the box once it was full, then topped it off with a cute little xo button.
These ones I filled with spring colored Reeses miniatures. Who doesn’t love them?! But always make sure that you warn those you give them to (especially people you’re just meeting). With nut allergies, you better be save.
These turned out so cute!! Loved the embroidered Hi! Pinned!
Thanks so much Summer. I may be addicted to embroidering random things now!
I like those! So bright and cheery. I like to give Easter colored candies, like the Reese’s.
What a darling idea! Leave it to you to come up with a fun “welcome to the neighborhood” treat!
