I’m slowly transforming my house into the sunny and bright colors to match the grat weather we have been having. Today’s project was this fun bow garland to go across our front window. It’s super cute and way easy to make. I sat and watched a couple races of the Olympics and it was already done!
I collected my scrap fabric and picked the ones that were my favorite and coordinated with one another. Then I made a slit at the top 1 1/2 inches from the edge (I didn’t measure, so each fabric was different), then used the slit to tear the fabric.
Once I had really long 1 1/2 inch strips I cut them down to 3 inches (but you can change it to different dimensions if you prefer)
then I just tied them onto the twine about 2 inches apart.
I strung them above my window, and I’m in love with it!!
Oh I love that! What a simple and darling idea. Thanks for sharing this cute easy project. 🙂 I am going to have to make use of some of my fabric scraps for this! 🙂
