This is one of the best and worst parts of sports season. I love that we can watch both Football and Basketball all week. I guess my husband got lucky in that aspect because I enjoy watching the games with him! Even the kids have started to enjoy the games. The other night we were cheering on our fabulous Jazz basketball team and I thought I’d make dinner a little extra fun.
I got a whole bunch of DiGiorno pizzas (that are currently on rollback at Walmart for only $4.50) and a bottle of Pizza sauce. I used the sauce to draw out a basketball on the top of the pizza before baking it. The kids aren’t huge sauce fans, so I also baked one that was plain for them.
The kids loved that they were eating a “basketball”! We also ate it off a blue plate and had juice in our blue cups to show some team spirit.
