I have a few “hard to shop for” people on my gift list this year, and one is a friend who is a Mom, still in te workforce but also trendy and on a budget. I feel like this describes so many people on our holiday shopping lists, right? It can be hard to shop for them, know what they need/want but also not spend an arm and a leg just to get the something special.
When I saw these perfume gift packs at Walmart I had to test them out, and LOVED them!! I don’t know why but I always thought that the “celebrity” products wouldn’t appeal to me, but I was definitely wrong. I smelled the Justin Bieber and knew that I had to get it for my friend. It smelled really sweet and fruity but had some floral and musk undertones. I love scents like this and knew that she would too.
On, and did I mention that the gift set, at under $20 to purchase, also comes with a free celebrity voice ringtone (see some samples on ScentSavings.net). I KNEW she would enjoy this. Her whole family is all about the latest and greatest when it comes to things lie this.
I didn’t want to wrap the whole thing up, because I knew that the cute packaging could totally speak for itself, but still wanted to add a little extra and make it more personal. So I added a junque bow to it! I’m LOVING how it looks
I started with a bunch of coordinating ribbon. Something that matched the package (or in the tutorial case, matched my daughter’s outfit) and then using a hot glue gun I put them all different directions and glued them in place. You can see some are longer, some shorter and I even have used cord, fabric and tulle for the bow! Then I glued another piece to the back, and wrapped it around the bow twice to hold everything in place and give it a finished look. Then glue a clip onto the back and it is ready to be clipped onto a ribbon wrapped around your gift, and then straight into their hair for a statement piece!

I love double duty wrapping. I always want it to be cute but feel so weird with all the waste this is perfect.
