DIY St Patricks Day Shirt

Our Thrifty Ideas | DIY Shirt using the #cricutcraftroom and freezer paper | #stpatricksday

I’m loving making personalized clothing for my kiddos. It’s so much fun, and there’s so many different ways to be able to do it.
To make this fun shirt for your little one this St Pattrick’s Day, you will need:

Start by cutting out your stencil. You can do that either with your cricut and my file which provides you with the layout for my “I’M NOT SHORT, I’M JUST LEPRECHAUN SIZED” shirt (download here), or by hand cutting a stencil from your freezer paper. Make sure the non-shiny side is facing UP when you do your stencil.

Then iron the freezer paper into place onto your shirt using a medium heat and light pressure with the shiny side down. It should attach very easily.

Then paint the whole stencil, from the outside in on each hole. Let the paint slightly dry and then pull off the stencil.
It really is that easy. The shirt is all done, and you can even wash it multiple times and the regular acrylic paint will stay put!!

This will be so cute for her to wear on St Patty’s day this year!!!
