Sometimes you never know when a person or company will surprise you. Who knows what it will be. Someone who is completely shy in groups is actually a public speaker, someone who loves chocolate is a personal trainer, or someone who doesn’t have any sort of dance moves was on a competitive dance team up until 4 years ago?!

Well, one thing that might surprise you is that Green Giant (yes, the Green Giant you’ve known and loved your whole life) is now making Veggie Chips. My family was sent 2 bags to try out as part of their surprise, and they are A-MAZING. The flavor is great but you can also feel good about snacking on them, because they are more healthy than the other chips you may have in your pantry.

They have come out with 2 flavors, and both were a huge hit at my house. The Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips in Zesty Cheddar Flavor are made with real veggies. They have 17 grams of whole grain per serving and are naturally flavored. The Sweet Potato Chips in Sea Salt Flavor are made with real sweet potatoes and have 14 grams of whole grain; plus 40% less fat than regular potato chips.

To promote these new products, Green Giant set to the streets to find out others surprise talents. Check out some of the amazing ones they have unearthed in their Green Giant- Giant Surprise video.

Because of the fun theme today, I thought I would share a video of one of my surprises. Remember above when I said “someone who doesn’t have any sort of dance moves was on a competitive dance team up until 4 years ago”? Well I was describing myself. I seriously have NO dance skills. I’m the persona everyone makes fun of when I get on the dance floor. But up until 4 years ago, I was on a competitive clogging team. One of the most fun dances I ever did was a copy from a dance we saw on SYTYCD. Check out the dance in the video below. (PS, I’m the random one crawling in from the right hand side!)

Thank you to The Green Giant™ for being a sponsor. Show the Giant your surprise talent on their facebook page.

  1. Love your dance! So You think You Can Dance is one of my most favorite shows ever! The chips sound good – I want to try both kinds.

  2. Okay, if you can do that, you can’t say you have no dance moves. *I* have no dance moves. My husband and I had to drop out of a social dance class when we were first married because my complete and utter lack of dance moves (in contrast to his natural talents) was putting too much of a strain on our relationship. Seriously. It was bad. Anyway… we will keep an eye out for these chips! They sound yummy and I can use all the help I can find getting my two little ones to willingly eat their veggies 🙂

I’m stopping by from the Utah Blogger’s group on Facebook. I’m newly (again… after a hiatus) blogging, so I just joined the group and am out “meeting” members. 🙂 Love to have you stop by if you have a second: just Lu

  3. LOVED THE VIDEO!! A super fun surprise talent… woo hoo! p.s. I’m in love with the sweet potato chips.
