Have you seen my daughter’s hair lately? No? Well, check it out
It’s beautiful hair. But when she wakes up, or plays on the floor with her brother, it becomes a rats nest on her head. Seriously, CRAZY.
So lately I have had to find a fun and entertaining thing to keep her attention for a period of time all so that I can just brush her hair out. And unfortunately, I have to do it multiple times a day. I have tried TV, a book, playing games on my phone.You name it, I’ve tried it. As soon as she looses interest, I have lost my chance to brush her hair.
Well the other day we received Arm & Hammer’s new Tooth Tunes brush. It has One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” song that it plays on it, and it has not only been a hit but has also become a lifesaver!
There’s also one available that plays “One Thing” by One Direction. I’m thinking I may need to go get it for me?!
This little girl now asks to brush with her music brush multiple times a day, and although it plays a 2 minute song (the amount of time your child should brush) she constantly asks for it to run “again Mom, again”. So we usually spend 4-5 minutes brushing both teeth AND hair!!
Have you tried these tooth brushes by ARM & HAMMER? The Tooth Tunes is so freakin cool. I even made Sean try it out even after Baby Girl Barker had used it {gross? maybe!}. When the song plays, it isn’t very loud, but as soon as your teeth close on it, it goes thru sound vibrations thru the toothbrush, thru the teeth, and into your head to hear the music louder as they brush. It’s seriously the coolest technology!

Now, I want to know what YOU do to get your child to hold still during hair time? And how many times a day do you have to brush your child’s hair? We do it at least 2 times a day…but usually have to brush it more than that!

Cute idea! My little guy has hair JUST like that, and I finally resorted to giving him a super short haircut recently because I couldn’t handle trying to tame his crazy curls a dozen times a day. It’s much easier to keep it neat that way, but I miss those sweet curls! I think I’ll try your Tooth Tunes method when his hair grows back out 🙂
