This snowball wreath is great for Christmas OR the new year with a little sparkle and a lot of white!
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! I can’t wait to share some awesome 2013 stuff with you soon, but first up today, winter decor! I’m loving all of my fun winter décor around the house! It’s so bright, airy, and fun. Today I thought I’d share my snowball wreath that we have on the closet door.
This was so super easy, and only cost $3. That’s because the supplies I either already had, found on clearance, or bought at dollar tree!
I got a wreath form, and covered it in strips of white fabric in case anything showed thru at the end (the form was green). Then I hot glued (in no particular order) an entire bag of cotton balls onto the top and sides of the form. I then did just one row on the inside, to make it look a little more full.
After it was all dry, I took it out and used my favorite, glitter blast, to give it a little shimmer look to it.
To hang it, I used a fun sparkle ribbon I got from the holiday clearance at good ‘ol Walmart, and using a few push pins, attached it at the back then hung it on the door!
Are you decorating for winter? or just skipping straight to v-day?
PS – I’ll show you soon how to dress this up for the next few holidays as well!!
If you use one of my tutorials, I’d love to see. Send me a link or picture to Vanessa {at} OurThriftyIdeas.com
