This is a cute little gift box all made out of paper. You use a die cut to make the box, the sunflower, and then adhere it all together.
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw my new love for the EKSuccess and Martha Steward trim cutters. See that cute little white strip around the box? I made that out of just a plain piece of paper! Seriously…….LOVE THESE!
Also, I was introduced us to a new product that is one of the coolest inventions ever. Have you used the QR codes before? You find them everywhere, and when you scan it, you are taken to a certain website. Well, these work the same way, but when you scan the QR code, it then plays a personalized message. It’s called a Talking Tag by Sizzix.
So if you are sending a birthday card, just stick the Talking Tag on it. But before, record your own personal greeting. That way it’s like you are there in person to wish that person a happy birthday!
Make sure to check out these talking tags. You can find more about them on the sizzix site here.
Want to make your own gift box, here’s what was used to make it:
- Cardstock
- Tim Holts Distress Ink
- EK Success cutter
- Jute
- OMC Designer Cuts: Box & Sunflower 2/ center
