You all have heard me mention Bennion Crafts (formerly refered to as Ben Franklin Crafts before their name change) before, here on the blog. You know when you find a company that you LOVE, and then something happens that makes you love them even more? Well, that just happened.
I was chatting with Debby, who is in charge of their facebook profile, and she let me know about an awesome project they are doing this Saturday, August 18, at both their Kaysville and Ogden locations to help Operation Write Home. If you don’t know about the amazing things this organization does for our troops, you can check out their website. But in short, they provide hand made cards for our troops to write home to their families!
“Join us in our mission by handcrafting greeting cards for deployed heroes to write home on! We ship boxes every week of the year, so your help is needed!”
So, if you are local and near a Bennion Crafts this weekend, PLEASE, stop in and help craft a card or two to help our Operation Write Home.
Bennion Crafts & Frame is looking for volunteers to help create cards to send to our heroes!
Please join us in assisting Operation Write Home by handcrafting greeting cards that our deployed heroes can write home on. Event will be going on at both locations. (Kaysville & Ogden)
* Recreate one of our cards or make your own
* Bring basic scrapbook supplies like paper trimmer & adhesives (not required)
* Stay for an hour, or spend the day with us!
