I’m officially obsessed with finding new things to make out of pallets. It really is so much fun! And the best part is getting the whole family involved in the action.
We took this big pallet…painted it white, and cut it down to 20×40 inches.
Then I let The Little Man go wild and paint to his hearts desire!
Most of it is just squiggles, but on a bunch of time he made me paint pictures of his favorite animals, people, shapes and places!
We then got a sheet of plexiglass at Home Depot and cut it down to size (right by the plexiglass, they have cutting istructions for you to take home). Then we pre-drilled holes where we wanted to attach it to the table, and put in some screws.
We bought some wheels to put in the bottom (to make it roll around the room), but decided that at this height, it is the perfect size to slide under The Little Man’s bed when not in use. Maybe one day we will put the wheels on, but I love how it is right now!
This is the perfect size for The Little Man to do his drawing, playing, and even have small picnic lunches!
