New Comment Rules

First of all I want to appologize to anyone who may have been offended by one of my recent posts. Apparently the wording behind my post about Mommy Weight has made someone upset and thought I was telling her she was lazy and a bad person for not being skinny. This was not my intention, I was just sharing how I was calling myself out and finding a way to get back into shape.
Anyway, because of this post, and another reader who has taken it upon themselves to be negative and mean towards me for no reason, I have changed my comment settings.
The people who are being negative toward me are doing so under an Anonymous setting. If you have something to say to about my posts, feel free to leave a comment and let me know who you are! I love getting others input and communicating with my readers. So from now on, you must have some sort of name, blogger, google ID, etc to post a comment.

  1. Sorry to hear that you had to change your settings! At the end of the day, our readers have to remember that it is “Our Blog”. Hope the negative comments stop!

  2. Good for you! I stand behind you and your blog, I think you’re great! Keep up the great work, love your blog!

  3. Way to go! If people don’t like what you post on YOUR blog then they shouldn’t read it. Apparently their mom never taught them “If you can’t say anything nice, then don’t say anything at all.” Keep your head up. I love your blog! 🙂

  4. Shees! Seems like the trolls have really been out lately! I had a similar experience on my infertility blog a few months ago! The new rules are great I did the same thing. I know that I haven’t ever commented on your blog before, but I read it, and I love all your great ideas and seeing your little family! 🙂 I just wanted to let you know that not only nasty people are out there! 😀

  5. I just take it with a grain of salt. One of my all time favorite food blogs had something like this happen. She made colored pancakes for her kids, and the comment section exploded about how she was a bad mom for letting her kids consume that much food coloring. People just get out of control sometimes. Glad you didn’t let it get you down.

  7. There’s no need to make nasty comments. I think sometimes people just want attention…even if it’s negative attention. Way to take control and keep going in a forward in a positive way! XO
