Decorated Christmas Crepes

The other night was one of those nights where you look at the clock and it is 5:29 and you think to yourself “*!@~*, where’d the day go? and what am I gonna put on the table for dinner?” My go to dinner is almost always, breakfast! Yah, we are breakfast food lovers around here, but for some reason I’m the only one who actually likes to eat before ten eleven noon. So if I made breakfast when it’s intended to be made, most would go to waste! Instead, I use it as my backup dinner food!

This particular night I asked The Little Man if he wanted French Toast, Crepes, or Eggs (we are working on giving 3 options and letting him pick one) in which he informed me he wanted CHOCOLATE…..wonder where he gets that from? We’ll blame it on his dad!

So compromise it was! I decided to make Crepes and decorate them as Christmas ornaments!! The Little Man had so much fun decorating his “pamcafs” he has asked for them every meal since!

Who says you have to roll/fold your crepes?! We loved having them open face with fun toppings; raspberry jam, whipped topping, chocolate chips, and candycane pieces! But I’m not sure if he enjoyed decorating it, or eating it more?

Making meal time fun is the best!! No wonder The Little Man doesn’t ever want to eat a plain old boring dinner!
