Turkey Activities for toddlers

We have been trying to do something Thanksgiving related everyday this month. The Little Man has been loving it. He isn’t yet able to completely understand what’s behind Thanksgiving, but I’m slowly trying to teach him. We’ve gotten the Indian part started, but still working on the pilgrim part!
But what he loves the most, is TURKEYS!! It seems like everything lately is turkey related. So we have many turkey projects displayed thru out the house right now, cause he insists on them being where everyone can see!
This is a typical morning in our house. Crayons, construction paper, scissors, glue, and Kids strung around the room!

And I decided that instead of hanging my typical holiday wreath this month, we would just feature The Little Man’s projects on our decor rod!
Today’s project was a turkey with his handprint. As you can tell, pretty much nothing actually looks as it should. But what 2 year old can really make it perfect? I sure don’t know one. And I’d rather have him have fun making it himself, than have me making it for him so that it “looks right”.
We also have made a Paper Towel Roll Turkey. This was one of his favorites because he gets to run  around the house playing with it. “Gibble Gibble” is his new favorite saying!
I will be posting more ideas of fun Thanksgiving Activities to do with your toddler in the next week or so. So make sure to keep an eye out.
