Today has been “one of those days”. It really seems like if something could go wrong, IT DID! But this afternoon I heard the best line and it made my day just a little bit better!
I was at a focus group and it got over just a few minutes early so I thought I would make my own day and get myself a little treat before picking the chillins up from the sitter.
So I got myself a box of Creamies!! I had a teenage boy as my cashier. As he was scanning the box he looked up and gave me a funny look followed by “are you kidding me?”. I was so shocked I didn’t know what to say. He then politely went back to a cheerful smile and continued with “I’ve had ‘one of those days’ and a Creamie is just what I need. It’s like a little piece of heaven with every bite”!!
Yes it is!! He totally lifted my spirits and just for that, I opened the box and gave him one of my Creamies! I hope that his day got better, because mine sure didn’t. But for that second, it brought a smile to my face.

I love Creamies! They don’t sell them here and I sure wish they did. You are such a sweetheart for giving the cashier one. My little piece of heaven is an Orange Julius! I love those things. I have found out to make a similar one at home: frozen orange juice (in ice cube tray) a little milk, a teaspoon of powdered sugar and a splash of vanilla. I may have to make one today!
He deserved to have one…if anyone could lighten the mood yesterday, they deserved an award!!
