Motherhood Matters – Day 2

The Challenge:
Recognize there are all kinds of mothers – those that work, those who stay-at-home, single mothers, and women who have never given birth. Be aware of how often you judge other women, and practice recognizing the worth of all kinds of mothers
“Biology is the least of what makes someone a mother” – Oprah Winfrey
I was lucky enough to have my mom stay home with me most of my young life. She was home when we got out of school, did her best to instill amazing habbits and qualities in each of her kids. And she did a fantastic job!
And now I am lucky enough to be home almost all the time with the Little Man. I work a little so that I have some social time, but get to be home with him during the days!
I know however that not everyone gets the privledge that I do. Also, not everyone get the chance to have kids of their own.
But that doesn’t mean that you can’t be a “mother figure” to those youngsters in your life.

I have a friend to has not had the prevlidge of getting pregnant. She is an amazing person and has a wonderful and supportive husband.
She has started a fabulous blog that everyone should check out about her journey with infertility. Reading this blog makes me thankful everyday for the cheance I have.
Check out Finger, Toes, and Eyes Crossed

Tell me about a “mother figure” you had in your life that wasn’t biological.
