Kid Friendly Recipe – Pizza

Tonight I babysat my Neice and 2 Nephews. They are so cute, but have WAY more energy than my pregnant self has! Add in my little man, and I am hugely out-numbered!

So even before they got here, I had everything planned. I was going to do everything in my power to wear them out while doing as little as possible myself!

On the agenda:
Kids make dinner – Pizza
Kids make dessert – Banana Pops (recipe coming tomorrow)
Kids play at park!

Well I am alive to say, it worked!

The kids loved being the ones to make their own food, and I barely did any work!

Homemade Pizzas

What you’ll need:
  • Betty Crocker pizza dough mix (just add water)
  • Water
  • Pizza sauce
  • Cheese
  • Other Pizza toppings

It helps to have all of the toppings and ingredients ready before involving the kids!

Place the dough mix into a bowl and have the kids add the water and stir. Once fully mixed, spread out on a cookie sheet, pizza pan, etc.

Then, let the kids have a blast placing their toppings on their individual pizzas.

Bake at 450* for 10-12 minutes on the lowest rack. Make sure the crust is slightly brown and your cheese is fully melted. Then, ENJOY!

I’m pretty sure that I earned “World’s Greatest Aunt” title for this one!
