I went to Target with all my coupons today, mainly because I was out of wipes and needed more. I figured that I would buy a few other things while I was there!
I’m mainly writing this post so that everyone realizes the importance of paying attention. I know it is a very hard thing to do when at the grocery store. But it is very important.
While at the store, I noticed that they had restocked their travel size first aid kits. So I grabbed a few. But they only had 5, and I needed 6 to use my 2nd coupon. So right next to it they had their 10 ct gauze packs for $.97. So I grabbed one and went to the checkout.
Apparently they were placed in the wrong basket, because they rang up for $2.99, instead of $.97. That’s $2.02 MORE than I should have paid. I kinda thought that was a lot for my total, but didn’t do anything til I got home. I checked my receipt, and sure enough, there was the mistake.
It is all my fault, because I wasn’t watching as the items were rung up. So now I will have to go back to Target and do an exchange with the gauze for a travel pack of bandaids! Oh well, that’s my own bad!

This is worth it to me. Because I was out, and I’m obsessed with these!
6 ct Cake Doughnuts – $1.13
= $.13!!! WOW
5 Tide one load detergent – $.97
Used $1.00 Any Tide Detergent from 8/29 P&G
= FREE
4 Huggies Wipes – $2.39
Used $1.50/2 Huggies coupon – previously available
= $.89 each
{There’s a $2.50/3 Printable wipes coupon available right now. If you use that with the Target coupon you will get them each for $2.42 which is around $.81 each. The only catch is you have to have access to 2 computers to get 3 Target coupons. Otherwise, buy 3 and use 2 target coupons and pay $3.17 which is $1.05 each}
5 Travel first aid kits – $.97 each + Gauze box – $2.99
Used 2 $3/3 coupons from 8/1 SS
= $1.94
But will be FREE after I go and exchange it!
Right now this shows a 70% savings. After my exchange, it will be a 76% savings!
