*Update – The website does say that the offer ends tomorrow. But in the branch and on my referal papers in says September 3rd. I called and they said that it IS going until 9/3, so everyone is good until then. Just disregard what the website says!
This is no joke. You really can get a completely FREE Ipod touch. I just signed up for it, and you don’t have to do anything that you aren’t doing already!
You already have a checking account with a debit card right? You already pay bills right? Then you can get an Ipod for FREE!!!
Bank of the West is trying to get their name out there, and get new accounts. As their way of doing that they are providing this wonderful incentive. You have until September 3rd to open a new checking account with at least $100 and a savings account with at least $1. So just $101 OOP but it isn’t like you are loosing the money. Because in order to qualify for the Ipod you must use your debit card 20 times by October 31. That gives you 2 months to use your card 20 times….I think that’s possible. Or, if you aren’t one to use a debit card, you can pay 5 bills online with their bill pay system, and that will qualify you as well.
Sean and I put the money in the account, and we are going to use it for our small purchases. Things like a soda at the gas station, a quick run to the grocery store, etc. Hopefully we wont have to transfer any more money into the account, and the $100 will last us until the end of the qualifying period!
And they are making it even better!! If you refer people and they open an account by September 3rd and meet the qualifications for the Ipod, then you get $50. Yup, that easy, you make money!!!!
I opened my account first, and then “refered” Sean to open an account, and he used his Dad’s address. So we immediately made $50 and we are getting 2 Ipods. We already have 2 Ipods, so we are planning on selling these ones on Ebay or KSL, and will make about $100 each. So just from the two of us, we will MAKE $250 just for using our debit cards!!!
You can do this too! You have 2 weeks to get it done, but I wouldn’t wait. The Ipods are a “while supplies last” type of deal I think, so you don’t want to wait on this one! And please, let them know that I refered you. I work really hard to get great deals for you, and this is one that can give me a payback!
