Our Cheap FHE

I absolutely love to go out for Family Home Evening. Haha, what a contradiction, because there’s not a home involved. But the time spent with family is great!
I thought I would share our amazing night out at Sparetime in Roy that we did for FHE
I started out buying our $30 gift certificate to Sparetime from City Deals for just $15!!
(check out city deals here for more amazind deals)
Before heading out, I figured I would check Sparetime’s website for any coupons! It’s always worth a shot right? Boy was it a good thing I did!!!!
They have a coupon for your first bowling game FREE! While I was checking out there site, I also found out that they have a rewards card!
(sorry about the break in the picture, it wouldn’t let me save it as a whole!)
What, a Rewards Card at Sparetime!?! I did a slight happy dance! They give you 10% off your spendings back on the card to be used towards a future purchase. Also, when you register your card online, you get $10 on your card for your next visit!!!!!
What we did at Sparetime!
We started out getting 10 batting cage tokens for $17.50 (the put the remaining balance on a gift card) so we had $12.50 remaining!
After the batting cages, we went back inside and decided to bowl! We used our first game FREE, so we paid for 1 game a piece (2 games per person total) With the cost of the games, and shoe rental our total came to $12.61! Haha, we ended up paying $.11 OOP.
With our rewards card, we ended up getting
$1.75 for our batting cage purchase
$1.26 for our bowling purchase
+ we got our $10 when we registered our card!
=$13.01 on our card!
When it comes down to is, we ended up paying $15.11 OOP and got back $13.01 on our card! A difference of us paying $2.10!
Really? A whole night our for just $2.10
And of course, we stopped at a fast food place to get a bite to eat on our way and used our Entertainment Book to get it for 50% off!

PS, if you have trouble with your rewards card, just email them after you sign up. It didn’t credit my account right away, but after I emailed them, the put the full balance on!
