My husband and I both went through our old wallets the other day looking for his Kohl’s card which he couldn’t find! Well, we found a LOT of gift cards that we had forgotten about. We’ve gotten prepaid cards that get a low balance (ie $1.21) and so we don’t think about using it again because it has a low balance. This was before I started using coupons! Now I realize that I can pay for a full shopping trip from a balance like that!! haha
We had prepaid Visa cards, restaurant gift cards, shopping gift cards, grocery store gift cards, and 3 different movie theatre gift cards! Guess how much all of the gift cards totaled up to?
$105.36
I had no idea! We had over $30 just in movie theatre credit! That’s at least 2 date nights paid for!
