This Saturday, May 8 2010, is the US Postal’s Stamp Out Hunger drive. All you have to do is leave a bag, or two, or non perishable items by your mailbox on Saturday morning, and your postal worker will pick it up for donation.
This is a great way to give to those in need. I’m sure that all of use have a few items in our food storage that we can donate to those less fortunate than ourselves. The economy as well as other things have caused many people nation wide to be cutting back, and trying to save in any and every way. I know that money is always on my mind, as well as how I can save more, and make ends meet. But I can always remind myself, that there are many that need money, food, and other items much more than I do. This is a way that I can give, without costing myself much money.
