Using some coordinating Christmas ribbon to create this beautiful garland that can hang anywhere. Customize it to whatever length or color you need!
I have wanted some sort of decoration in my kitchen, but I didn’t have any ideas where to start. I DO NOT want to clutter up what little counter space I have, so the ideas were slim. But when it came to Christmas decor, I knew that I wanted to make a fun LONG scrap ribbon garland banner to display over the window that’s above the sink. So I headed out and grabbed some amazing holiday ribbon, and I am so excited with how it turned out!!
- Coordinating Ribbon
This is such a SIMPLE tutorial, I’m embarrassed that I’m even writing it up, but really, you’ll love it.
I cut my ribbon into about 10 inch strips. There were a bunch of different colors, so I made sure to mix them up and get them in “no particular order”!
Then fold the ribbon in half, put the loop end under your twine and loop the two tails through the loop. Pull tight to create a knot and hold the ribbon in place. Make each ribbon as close or as far apart as you’d like to create the fullness look you are looking for.
Once you are all done tying the ribbon on, cut the twine with enough on each end to hang it.
