{Tutorial} Spooky Halloween Banner

I’m super excited for Halloween this year. I’m not sure if it’s because It’s been SO hot, that I’m looking forward to the crisp fall air, the smells and of course all the fun treats! But today I am participating in a 30 days of Halloween series with Cupcake Diaries and wanted to share with you this fun and super easy “Spooky” banner.

I just took 6×6 sheets of black paper, and I glued purple tulle all the way around 3 sides.

I then made a medallion out of both orange and green paper. Then I glittered the edges of the green medallions. I just brushed on some mod podge to the ends, and the rolled it in glitter that was inside a bowl.

I used my cricut and cricut craft room to cut the circles out of the fun striped black & white paper. And also the letters “SPOOKY” out of purple paper.

Glue it all together, and then strung it up with some lime green ribbon.

Because there wasn’t a good way to actually hang the banner, I made a junk bow, and used a staple gun in the middle of it. The ribbons hang down over the staple, so you can’t see it. And they make small enough holes that you wont notice it!
