Why I swear by Heel Liners for my High Heel Shoes

Getting ride of gaps in your heels and make them fit better

You guys, when I got pregnant for the first time, something I NEVER thought would happen happened. My feet grew. My feet had been the same size since I was like 14 so imagine my surprise when I went from a size 6 1/2 to a 7 1/2. And then during my second pregnancy ONE of my feet grew to an 8, but the other foot stayed the same. So now I am left with a size 7 1/2 foot, and a size 8….ANNOYING!

So today I thought that I would share with you how I have been dealing with the situation, and I am still able to wear cute shoes without cramming my large one into a smaller size!

I use Heel Liners in the back heel/ankle section of my shoe, and it makes my shoes fit so much better and are a kazillion times more comfortable. Have you ever had those shoes that like bend into the back of your ankle and by the end of the day you feel like you’re being stabbed?! Yah, these solve that problem too!!

Seriously, do you see the difference in how they fit? They are more snug, my heel doesn’t come out of them when I walk and it makes them so much more comfortable. This particular pair of shoes, I had to use 2 of the liners in my left shoe to make them fit snug…but they fit just perfect on my right!!

Do you have two different size feet? I’m finding more people, than I knew, have this problem as well!

  1. Those are so cool! I have never heard of these before. Love!

  2. These are brilliant. I don’t have two different sized feet but I do have a love/hate relationship with heels because of the pain associated with them. Looks like I will have to check these out next time I head to the store. Thanks for sharing!

  3. What a great idea!! And I love those shoes! With this past pregnancy my feet have grown a 1/2 size, so all my other shoes aren’t fitting anymore…. it’s annoying

    • It’s honestly one of the most inconsiderate parts of pregnancy (doesn’t pregnancy know better?!)! I don’t want to have to buy new shoes with each child (although it’s a great excuse to give the hubby)

  4. Genius!! You’ve done it again! Muah 😉

  5. My feet are the same size, I’m awesome like that. But I do like these gadgets to make my shoes more comfy or fit better if I found some shoes on sale in a bigger size. 🙂

  6. Smart!! I’ve never heard of these, but I’ll have to try them out when I’m up and walking again! Thanks for sharing.

    • They are such a lifesaver. Hope your recoop is going well, and you’ll be back up and walking soon. I love seeing that you haven’t let this stop you from doing anything and everything! You’re a supermom!

  7. I need these!! Totally brilliant idea.

  8. Ladies another problem is this. The higher the heel the more your foot goes toward the toes and that makes this problem at the back too. There are things to put inside your shoes that goes at the ball of your foot to keep this from happening. It also keeps your toes from being hurt by the little hole. You can generally find at any Dr. Shols spot at the store. Makes a world of difference get some and try that also. From one old high heeled lady to you youngins.
