Ok, I don’t normally ask much of you, my readers…wait, yet I do. Comment, share, enter, love?! But nothing like this. Today, I’m going to ask a favor of you all, and you can do what you are capable of. But I feel that EVERYONE has something to contribute.
Last week we had our fabulous series in conjunction with Newlyweds On A Budget, and it was such a great success. Well, I announced the winners (can be found here) and sent an email to the fabulous Kari and didn’t hear back, which is not normal for her. This was Saturday night, and now I am sickened to find out why I didn’t get a reply.
At the time I sent her the email, this poor girl was in surgery after a horrific accident.
Kari had been out on her usual run (she’s been training for a half marathon, crazy girl!) and she was hit by a car (a drunk driver), and the driver fled, leaving her alone on the side of the road. She has a huge and long recovery ahead of her, as she has broken femur, collar bone, elbow, knee and fractured pelvis.

Kari is such a dear friend, and I can not imagine what her, her husband, and her family are going thru.
