Button Letter Wall Canvas

Have I mentioned how excited I am about the decor for Baby Girl Barker’s bedroom? The colors are turning out fabulous!
I have started a canvas gallery wall behind her crib! One of the most fun canvas designs I have done is this fun button initial.

It was so simple, and surprisingly quick!

Supplies:

  • Canvas
  • Buttons
  • A Printed Letter
  • Hot Glue Gun

I just did a google image search for the letter G, and printed it in an 8×10. Then cut it out and traced it onto the canvas.

Then start hot gluing the buttons, in a very random pattern, onto the letter!

YUP, that simple!!! I totally love how it turned out. I can’t wait to show you the whole gallery wall put together.

  1. Love it! 🙂 Where did you get the canvas and buttons?

    • Brittany, my neighbor is an artist (painting) and she has TONS of canvas, so I bought it from her, because she gets it really cheap. But you can buy it at any craft store. Make sure to use your 40-50% off coupons!! This particular canvas was a 12×12 size.
And I got these particular buttons at JoAnn’s. I think I bought 4 different packs, but still have a ton left over.

Oh, and I must mention that this only took me about 10 minutes to make!! Super quick

  2. What a wonderful idea and great idea for a shower gift!

  3. Such a cute way to use buttons.

  4. Love this! Thanks for linking up!

  5. Cute, cute, cute! It is so sweet and fun done in those colors, but I’m also imagining how classic it would look with a more subdued selection of brown and black wooden buttons. This might be my new go-to gift. Thank you.

  6. That is super cute! I’m going to make one for my room!
