This week I thought I would show you how to make these great Bread Twists that we had with dinner last week.

Garlic Bread Twists

You will start out with any great bread recipe, you can find a good one here at Farmgirl Fare. Or if you really don’t want to make your own bread, you can buy some pre-made bread dough. I prefer Rhodes bread dough.
#1 – Let the bread rise according to instructions.
#2 – Roll dough out until 1/4 inch thick.
Mix butter and garlic powder in a bowl. Then spread evenly across the whole thing.
#3 – Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut the dough into 2 inch pieces. Then cut each piece in half without cutting thru on end (see arrow below).
Pick up the cut ends and twist it around one another.
Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 350 for 18 minutes (or until golden brown).
We had them with a yummy chicken Alfredo pasta.
