Home made sugar scrub

Tonight I was blog surfing. This is by far my favorite thing to do when I get bored! There are many blogs that I love to follow. One of my favorites is sWeeT cHarLi! She is a very good blogger as well as crafter. You’ve probably seen her on Studio 5 (I think that’s where I saw her for the first time). Go here to check her out. I would suggest adding her to your favorites so you can visit often.

One of her recent posts was homemade sugar scrub! I can’t wait to try this one out! This is something she gave to her mom and mil for Mother’s Day.

Ingredients:

2 T. brown sugar
2 T. ground up oats
2 T. aloe-vera gel
1 T. honey
1 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp. oil (almond, olive, massage…)

Grind up oatmeal until it has the consistency of sand with blender or processor.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until it is a paste.
It should be applied to moist skin, using your fingertips to massage in a circular motion. Rinse with warm water!

Thanks sWeeT cHarLi
